When your android phone is stolen, you can track the device by logging into the google account with the same gmail id that you have registered in the mobile device.
This only works if you have enabled “access to my location” option in mobile device before it has been stolen. To enable this feature, go to device settings > google > location > access to my location
Steps to track the lost android device.
1. Login to google account with the gmail id registered in your mobile device.
3. Go to https://myaccount.google.com/
4. Choose option Android
5. Click on option “find your device”
6. In the new window, you can see the google map location where your phone is currently located.
